John Hogan

CEO

John is the CEO and founder of Blue Nail Exteriors, a company built on the mission of redefining what homeowners expect from contractors. Raised in the construction world through his father’s business, John initially planned to pursue a career in finance after earning his MBA. Instead, he recognized a generational gap in the roofing industry and stepped in to lead with integrity and innovation. His visionary approach has led to partnerships with top manufacturers like GAF and James Hardie—including being selected for special projects by their executives and serving on national advisory boards.

Nina Hogan

CFO

As CFO of Blue Nail Exteriors, Nina brings a sharp financial focus and a strong foundation of structure to the company’s operations. Prior to joining Blue Nail, she held roles as a Financial Reporting Specialist (Senior) at Prudential Financial in the Separate Accounts group and as a Senior Auditor at CohnReznick LLP. In 2025, Nina was named President of the Montville Chamber of Commerce, where she continues to champion and support local businesses. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her kids and baking sourdough bread from scratch—a craft that, much like her work, calls for patience, precision, and the perfect balance.

Todd, our James Hardie specialist and dedicated Project Consultant, brings deep product knowledge and a passion for helping homeowners make informed decisions. Trained in all the materials Blue Nail offers, he takes pride in guiding clients toward the best solutions for their homes. From design to completion, Todd ensures every project reflects true craftsmanship and care. When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find him on the green, enjoying a round of golf!

Matt has been a valued member of the Blue Nail Exteriors team for over five years. While he originally made his mark as a Project Consultant, he now works behind the scenes in production—making sure the details of every project are handled with care, precision, and the same commitment he brought to the field. Outside of work, Matt enjoys coaching his daughter’s lacrosse team, where his leadership and dedication continue to shine. His deep experience and focus help keep our projects running smoothly and up to the Blue Nail standard.
